T8 LED Tube Lights
Tube lights are standard for residential homes and commercial spaces like offices, retail zones, hotels, etc. These T8 LED tubes are replacing the outdated fluorescent tube lights fast, and there are many benefits associated with LED tubes, such as low energy consumption and higher lumen intensity.

The LED tubes offer numerous advantages, such as reducing wattages, which lowers power consumption. In addition, their lifespan is more than 50,000 hours compared to standard fluorescent tubes, which can only operate for 10,000 to 15,000 hours.

LED tubes are shatter-resistant and mercury-free. Several types of LED tubes are present in the market, such as plug-and-play and ballast bypass, so that you can select as per your requirements.

Types of LED tubes

Ballast bypass - One of the most popular options is to replace the standard fluorescent tube with the newly LED tubes with the ballast bypass option. The ballast part is completely removed from the fixture, and the power reaches directly to the tubes.

Removing the ballast option reduces the maintenance and compatibility concerns. It also reduces the wattage consumption of the light fixture, which is quite significant when it comes to the annual power consumption budget of the establishment.

There are two options available with the ballast bypass 1) single-ended 2) double-ended

In single-ended tubes, the power comes from only one end, and in double-ended, the power consumption happens from both ends.

Hybrid tubes - Initially, it is used as a plug-and-play tube. Then, just insert the tube in the initial fixture and use it usually.

These tubes can work single-ended or double-ended and when the old ballast part wears out due to extensive usage. Then, just remove the ballast part and rewire the fixture.
